JF Restaurants by Michelin-Starred and Award-winning Chef John Fraser is hiring for looking forskilledLINE COOKS to work dinner shifts at The Vermilion Club located at the Winthrop Center in the heart of downtown Boston.This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the kitchen team.Key Responsibilities: Execute precise cooking techniques to maintain the highest culinary standards Work efficiently in a fast-paced, detail-oriented kitchen Maintain impeccable cleanliness and adherence to food safety protocols Collaborate closely with the culinary team to deliver a seamless service Be flexible and willing to assist with various tasks as needed. Adapt to changes in the menu or kitchen workflow. Pay attention to the quality and appearance of prepared ingredients. Report any issues or concerns regarding ingredient quality to the chef. Work efficiently to ensure that prep work is completed in a timely manner. Prioritize tasks based on the kitchen's needs and service schedule. Qualifications: Previous experience in a fine dining or Michelin-rated kitchen preferred Strong knife skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to consistency Ability to perform under pressure in a high-intensity environment A passion for seasonal ingredients and refined techniques Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays Physical Demands: While performing these job duties, the employee is regularly required to see, talk, hear, and reach. The employee is regularly required to sit, walk, and stand for long periods. The employee is also required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, bend, squat, kneel, and reach above shoulder level.
